A high performance air intake kit developed for the M133 engined A45, CLA45 and GLA45 triplets.

Air flow is restricted factory air filter setup on the M133 engine due to a small diameter attachment at the air filter so as well as increasing the diameter of the filter at the attachment we’ve taken the approach of guiding the air as aerodynamically as possible into the turbo.

The kit incorporates a top quality Japanese Apexi Power Intake Dual Funnel Air filter for optimum flow characteristics, a 3D printed filter adaptor for the standard air box as well as a 3D printed air guide for turbo intake tube.

The parts have been professionally CAD designed for perfect fitment with the use of 3D scanning technology. They are made via Industrial 3D printing in Nylon plastic (similar material to the OEM engine bay plastics) so they are both heat and oil/chemical resistant.

The setup has been dyno tested to measure performance and confirm gains. Results from testing show a consistent gain in torque/power across the entire rev range of over 10 horsepower with an average of 14.25hp*. There are areas where gains of above 30 horsepower are achieved. The air guide helps clean up flow in particular at lower engine speeds, resulting in some healthy gains.

The kit looks 100% standard when installed with the air box lid on.
